Ledger.com/start is the official landing page to download and begin using Ledger® Live — the wallet management app for Ledger® hardware devices. Ledger® Live is available as Ledger Live Desktop (Windows, macOS, Linux) and the Ledger Live App for iOS and Android. It handles account management, firmware updates, transaction signing and app installation for supported cryptocurrencies.

Common Login & Connection Issues (and fixes)
Encountering "Ledger Live login not working", "Error connecting Ledger account", or "Can't verify Ledger Wallet"? Try these targeted steps:
- Confirm you're on the official Ledger® site and using the latest Ledger® Live release.
- Use the original USB cable and direct computer port; reboot device and computer.
- Unlock the Ledger® and allow any connection prompts before opening Ledger® Live.
- Reinstall the currency app via Manager and re-add the account if specific tokens fail to load.
- On mobile, ensure Bluetooth permissions are enabled and the device firmware supports BLE.
Unable to Ledger Trezor / Migrating from Trezor
If you’re moving from a Trezor device, you can restore your existing recovery phrase on a Ledger® device only if the seed standard matches and the target assets are supported. Always research coin compatibility and perform a small test transfer first. Never share your seed during migration.
Account Recovery & 2FA Notes
Ledger® hardware security revolves around your recovery phrase (usually 24 words). Ledger® cannot recover a lost phrase. Ledger® does not host conventional 2FA for the device; if a service tied to your wallet uses 2FA, follow that service's recovery process. For device PIN issues, use the recovery phrase to restore on a new device.
When to Contact Ledger Help Center
Collect Ledger® Live logs (Help → Troubleshooting → Collect logs) and reach out to the Ledger® Help Center for unexplained errors, failed firmware updates or suspected device faults. Avoid sharing seed phrases in any support channel.
